Speaker: Testing and Inspection

SPEAKER INSPECTION (For Base system)
1. Disconnect speaker harness connector.
2. Measure the resistance between front and rear speaker terminals (1) and (2) or terminals (1) and (2) of tweeter (for 6-speaker type).
^ The resistance should be 2 to 4 ohm.
3. Using jumper wires, momentarily connect a 9 V battery between front and rear speaker terminals (1) and (2).
^ A momentary hum or pop should be heard.
