Nissan has developed a new solenoid valve assembly to improve transaxle durability. This new solenoid valve has been incorporated into original equipment and new production service part transaxles. To ensure remanufactured F04 transaxles incorporate this new solenoid valve, some remanufactured transaxle assemblies require replacement of the solenoid valve assembly with the new part.

Only the remanufactured transaxles listed in the Applied Transmissions (above) require replacement of the solenoid valve assembly. These parts will have tags placed on the shipping container indicating replacement of the solenoid valve assembly is required.

Failure to perform the solenoid valve assembly repair may result in slipping and improper operation. When installing one of the replacement transaxle assemblies listed above, use the following service procedure to replace the solenoid valve assembly. This bulletin contains the repair procedure, warranty and parts information.
