FAIL-SAFE CHART
The ECM enters fail-sate mode, if any of the following malfunctions is detected due to an open or short circuit. When the ECM enters the fail-safe mode, the MIL illuminates. However, the MIL will not illuminate if the "Start signal circuit" malfunctions.
