PURPOSE and OPERATION
The fuel temperature sensor, built into the fuel tube, senses fuel temperature. When the fuel temperature is higher than specified, the Engine Control Module (ECM) turns the Pressure Regulator Vacuum Relief Control Solenoid Valve "ON" and raises fuel pressure.
