Throttle Drum and Linkage Adjustment

Throttle Drum Linkage Adjustment:

1. Loosen the lock-nut and adjusting screw.

Throttle Drum Linkage Adjustment:

2. Manually turn the throttle drum until it is completely open.
3. Check that the stopper lever is not touching the adjusting screw. If the stopper lever is touching the screw, back off the screw until there is clearance with the stopper lever.

Throttle Drum Linkage Adjustment:

4. Turn the adjusting screw until it just touches the stopper lever. Release the throttle drum.
5. Turn the adjusting screw in (clockwise) three rotations and tighten the lock nut. Adjustment is complete.
