Self Diagnostic Function

SELF DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
A warning lamp will flash on the instrument panel when a problem occurs in the ABS system. To activate ABS Self-Diagnosis, ground the self diagnosis (check) terminal located on the data link connector. Refer to Self-Diagnostic Procedures. Testing and Inspection

The location of the malfunction is indicated by the number ABS warning lamp flashes. Refer to Trouble Code Charts for warning lamp flash code identification.
