BRAKE PAD SERVICE

Fig. 18 Exploded View Of OPZ11V & OPZ11BV Rear Disc Brake Assembly:

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle and remove wheels.
2. Remove clip from pad pin, Fig. 18.
3. Remove pad pin.
4. Remove cross spring.
5. Pull out outer pad.
6. Push back outer piston with suitable tool and install new pad.
7. Install cross spring, pad, pin and clip.

BRAKE CALIPER SERVICE
Replacement
1. Disconnect brake tube and hand brake cable from caliper assembly.
2. Remove caliper mounting bolts and the caliper.
3. To install, reverse procedure.

Overhaul
Disassemble caliper assembly as shown in Fig. 18, noting the following:
1. Carefully remove piston retainer using a suitable screwdriver.
2. Apply compressed air to back side of piston to remove piston and dust seal.
