Wheel Bearing: Adjustments

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove brake pads.
3. Ensure wheel bearing is tightened to specification.
4. Ensure wheel bearing operates smoothly.
5. Check axial endplay.
6. If axial endplay is more than 0.0012 inch, replace wheel bearing.
