Control Valve Assembly And Accumulators
Fig. 9 Accumulator A, B, C And D Removal:
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove oil pan and gasket and drain transmission fluid.
2. Remove fluid temperature sensor, if equipped or necessary.
3. Remove oil strainer, then valve body to case attaching bolts and disconnect harness electrical connector.
4. Remove solenoids and valves from valve body, if necessary.
5. Remove terminal cord assembly, if necessary.
6. Remove accumulator A, B, C and D, if necessary, using compressed air, Fig. 9. Cover each piston with a shop towel when removing.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Always use new sealing parts.
