Throttle Position Switch: Testing and Inspection

Closed Throttle Position Switch Inspection:

1. Disconnect connector.
2. Using an ohm meter, check continuity across terminals 1 and 2.
Continuity should exist with throttle closed.
Continuity should NOT exist with throttle open.

Replace sensor if it fails the above test.
