Intake Air Plenum: Description and Operation

Intake Manifold And Collector:

The intake collector is mounted on top of the intake manifold. It consists of a common air chamber for all the intake runners and a mounting for the throttle chamber. Because all intake runners connect to a common chamber, the intake runners can be of equal length to ensure equal efficiency between cylinders.
