Fuel Injector: Testing and Inspection

Injector Test:

1. Remove the injector connector.
2. Using an ohm meter, check its resistance.
Resistance should be approximately 11 ohms at 68°F (20°C).
If OK, proceed to step #3.
If not OK, replace the injector.
3. Remove the injector (refer to COMPONENT REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES) and check nozzle for restriction.
Replace the injector if it fails the above test.
