Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

The expansion valve is located in the cooling unit, attached to the evaporator core.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge A/C system into an approved recovery/recycling container.
2. Remove passenger side instrument lower cover and glove compartment.
3. Disconnect wiring harness connectors to evaporator.

A/C Components:

4. Separate cooling unit case halves and remove the expansion valve.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
