1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then discharge and recover A/C refrigerant.
2. Remove passenger side instrument lower cover and glove compartment.
3. Disconnect wiring harness connectors from intake unit.
4. Remove intake unit.
5. Disconnect wiring harness connectors from evaporator.
6. Remove cooling unit.
7. Separate cooling unit case halves and remove evaporator, Fig. 5.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
