Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Testing and Inspection

1. Install the sprocket onto the camshaft.
2. Measure the camshaft sprocket runout. The runout limit, Total Indicator Reading (TIR), is 0.15 mm (0.0059 inch.)
3. If it exceeds the limit, replace the camshaft sprocket.
