Front

1. Raise and support front of vehicle and remove wheel.
2. Disconnect brake line from strut.
3. Support transverse link with a suitable jack.
4. Remove strut to steering knuckle attaching bolts, then separate strut from knuckle.
5. On Maxima and Stanza models, loosen, but do not remove, the piston rod locknut.
6. On all models, remove strut attaching nuts, then the strut assembly from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
