Parallel and Radius Link

Fig. 22 Rear suspension. 1985-88 Maxima & 1987-88 Stanza:

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle and remove wheel. Do not support vehicle at the parallel links or radius rod.
2. Remove parallel link or radius rod attaching bolts, then the link or rod, Fig. 22. If removing front parallel link, remove exhaust pipe mounting bracket (LH side only), parking brake cable support bracket and the parallel link bracket, if necessary.
3. Reverse procedure to install, using new parallel link nuts.
