Instrument Panel Circuit Board: Service and Repair

Exc. Wagon

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Loosen steering tilt adjusting lever and lower steering column as far as possible.
3. Remove steering column cover.
4. Remove instrument cluster lid attaching screws, then the cluster lid.
5. Remove instrument cluster attaching screws, then pull the cluster back just enough to provide access to electrical connectors and speedometer cable.
6. Disconnect electrical connectors and speedometer cable from instrument cluster, then remove the cluster from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
