Flywheel Inspection

Clutch Disc, Clutch Cover And Flywheel:

Inspection and Adjustment / FLYWHEEL INSPECTION

CAUTION: Do not allow any magnetic materials to contact the ring gear teeth.







Inspect contact surface of flywheel for slight burns or discoloration. Clean flywheel with emery paper.

KA24DE:..............less than 0.15 mm (0.006 in)

VG33E & VG33ER:
Flywheel (M/T model).......................less than 0.15 mm (0.0059 in)
Drvie Plate (A/T model)....................less than 0.15 mm (0.0059 in)

Check flywheel runout.
