Camshaft Oil Seal: Service and Repair

OIL SEAL INSTALLING DIRECTION

OIL SEAL INSTALLING DIRECTION:

Install oil seal in direction shown.

CAMSHAFT OIL SEAL
1. Remove timing belt.
2. Remove camshaft sprocket.
3. Remove camshaft.
4. Remove camshaft oil seal.
- Be careful not to scratch camshaft.





5. Apply engine oil to new camshaft oil seal.
