Speedometer Head: Description and Operation

SPEEDOMETER
The vehicle speed sensor provides a voltage signal to the combination meter for the speedometer.

The voltage is supplied
- to combination meter terminals 22 and 23 for the speedometer
- from vehicle speed sensor terminals 1 and 2.

The unified meter control unit converts the voltage to the vehicle speed and displays it on the speedometer.
