FRONTIER AND XTERRA SQUEAK AND RATTLE REPAIR
This amended version of NTB99-059 supplements information in the Parts Information section. It also contains information that supersedes Incident 1 in the Service Procedure section of the "Rear And Lower Area." Please refer to this bulletin (NTB99-059B) for complete bulletin information.

SERVICE INFORMATION
If a 1999-2000 Frontier and/or 2000 Xterra exhibits squeak or rattle noises while driving, use this bulletin to isolate, repair, and resolve the incident(s).
NOTE:
Some repairs included in this bulletin apply to both Frontier and Xterra, while others apply only to Frontier vehicles.
Repairs that apply only to Frontier vehicles are clearly marked immediately after the incident number and description with a notation that reads: "Frontier Vehicles Only."

SERVICE PROCEDURE
Front Area, Upper (Dashboard, Lower Windshield)
Includes: Dash pad and instrument cluster, dash internal structure and components, windshield to dash interface area, glove box, audio and HVAC controls and vents, and all steering wheel or column mounted controls.
