SERVICE INFORMATION

If any of the following noises are heard from the front driver and/or passenger side window of a 1998-1999.5 Pathfinder, the window may not have enough clearance to operate properly in the door channel:

^ Wind leak noise at the upper B-Pillar.

^ Window squeak during initial opening and at the top of travel/close.

^ Creaking or popping noise after the window is initially closed.

A new soft foam run rubber seal is available to correct this condition, if it should occur.

Use the information in this bulletin to diagnose the condition, remove the existing hard foam rope seal from the glass run rubber, and install the new soft foam run rubber seal in its place.
