SERVICE INFORMATION

In cases where the cargo net hooks may have pulled off of the cargo net, replacement hooks are available. This bulletin covers the replacement procedure for the hooks.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. The replacement hook body and hook collar are molded as one part. Using a twisting motion, separate the hook collar from the hook body (see Figure 1).

2. Trim any burrs from the hook body and hook collar. Install the hook collar back onto the hook body as shown in Figure 2.

NOTE:
Do not push the collar on any further than is shown in Figure 2. Also keep the alignment lines straight as shown in Figure 2.

3. Insert the cargo net elastic cord loop fully into the replacement hook body as shown in Figure 3.

4. Using a pair of pliers or other suitable tool, push the hook collar onto the hook body, seating it.

NOTE:
Make sure the alignment lines are still straight. This will engage the hook body locks into the hook collar.
