1996-99.5 PATHFINDER INTERIOR SQUEAK AND RATTLE REPAIR

This amended version of NTB98-103 updates information in the Service Procedure section related to the "Upper Area" and "Rear Area, Lower" (Part 1) repair procedures. This bulletin contains the supplemental information in NTB98-103a. Please refer to this bulletin (NTB98-103b) for complete bulletin information.

SERVICE INFORMATION

If a 1996-99.5 Pathfinder exhibits squeak and rattle noise(s), use the repairs in this bulletin to resolve the incident(s).

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Front Area, Upper (dashboard, lower windshield)

The front area, upper includes: Dash pad and instrument cluster, dash internal structure and components, windshield to dash interface area, glove box, audio and HVAC controls and vents.

Upper Area (headliner, upper windshield, sunroof)

The upper area includes: Roof, A, B, C, D pillars and trim, sun visors, electrical control panels in headliner or visors and pillar mounted seat belt retractors.

Rear Area, Lower (door area, seats, center console, rear glass, hatches, floor)

The rear area, lower includes: Door panels, glass and door mounted controls, front and rear seat assemblies, center console, carpeted areas, parcel shelf, interior mounted stop lamp.
