DTC Confirmation Procedure

CAUTION: Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.

NOTE: If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 5 seconds before conducting the next test.

With CONSULT
(1) Turn ignition switch "ON".
(2) Select "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT
(3) Start engine.
(4) Drive vehicle at a speed of approximately 80 km/h (50 MPH) for a maximum of 15 minutes.

NOTE: If a malfunction exists, NG result may reveal soon.

With GST
(1) Start engine.
(2) Drive vehicle at a speed of approximately 80 km/h (50 MPH) for 15 minutes.
(3) Select "MODE 7" with GST

No Tools
(1) Start engine.
(2) Drive vehicle at a speed of approximately 80 km/h (50 MPH) for 15 minutes.
(3) Turn ignition switch "OFF" and wait at least 5 seconds.
(4) Turn ignition switch "ON" and perform "Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results)" with ECM.
