Fuel Gauge: Description and Operation
POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUITPower is supplied at all times
- through 7.5 A fuse [No. 24, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
- to combination meter terminal 3.
With the ignition switch in the ON or START position, power is supplied
- through 10 A fuse [No. 8, located in the fuse block (J/B)]
- to combination meter terminal 12.
Ground is supplied
- to combination meter terminal 2
- through body grounds M4 and M77.
The fuel gauge indicates the approximate fuel level in the fuel tank.
The fuel gauge is regulated by a variable ground signal supplied
- to combination meter terminal 7 for the fuel gauge
- from terminal 3 of the fuel tank gauge unit
- through terminal 2 of the fuel tank gauge unit and
- through body grounds B11, B22 and D210.
