REMOVAL AND TIGHTENING SEQUENCES
Rocker Cover
- Tighten the 2 bolts in sequence to3 Nm (26 in. lbs).
- Tighten bolts in sequence to 7 - 11 Nm (61 - 95 in. lbs.)

Tightening Sequence:
1. Torque all cylinder head bolts to 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.), then to 78 Nm (58 ft. lbs).
2. Loosen all bolts completely.
3. Torque all cylinder head bolts to 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs).
4. Using an angle wrench, or equivalent, turn all cylinder head bolts 80 +5/-0 degrees clockwise.
If an angle wrench is not available, torque all bolts to 74 - 83 Nm (54 - 61 ft. lbs.)
5. Tighten all remaining fasteners to specifications.
