Camshaft Gear/Sprocket: Testing and Inspection

1. Install sprocket on camshaft.
2. Measure camshaft sprocket runout. The runout, Total Indicator Reading, (TIR), limit is 0.12 mm (0.0047 inch).
3. If it exceeds the limit, replace camshaft sprocket.
