SERVICE INFORMATION

If a 1995-97 Truck rear sliding window leaks water it may be due to two different conditions:

1. When the vehicle is parked. Water may leak through the seals of the rear window under heavy rain or if the vehicle is washed and a water hose is aimed at the recessed section of the window.

2. When driving the vehicle in the rain with the side windows slightly opened. This situation will create a low pressure condition inside the cabin which will pull water from the outside through the drain holes of the sliding window. Closing the side windows completely when driving may help eliminate the leak.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

To resolve either of the above conditions, replace the rear sliding window with the appropriate part number listed below.
