Flywheel: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Do not allow any magnetic materials to contact the ring gear teeth.

INSPECTION
- Inspect contact surface of flywheel for slight burns or discoloration. Clean flywheel using emery paper.
- Check flywheel runout for maximum allowable runout. Refer to Engine.
