Pairing the Bluetooth Device [Vehicles With MMCS]

METHODS FOR PAIRING AND PAIRING DELETION WITH BLUETOOTH(R) DEVICE USING MULTIVISION DISPLAY

As for vehicles with MMCS, "pairing" registration of the Bluetooth(R) device and deletion of paired device from hands free module can be done by touch panel operation on the multivision display.
NOTE:

- Some Bluetooth(R) devices (cellular phone and music player) may not be compatible with the hands free module.
- A maximum of seven Bluetooth(R) devices can be registered.
- This system cannot be used when a battery of Bluetooth(R) devices was exhausted.

DISPLAY THE PAIRING LIST SCREEN.

OPERATION ON THE MOBILE PHONE SCREEN





1. When press the (1) in the illustration.





2. Display the INFOR screen, and select "Mobile Phone."





3. Select "1" in the illustration on the Mobile Phone screen.





4. Select "Pairing."





5. The pairing list screen is displayed.

OPERATION ON THE A/V MODE SCREEN





1. Press the (1) in the illustration.





2. Display the A/V mode screen, and select "Bluetooth Audio."
NOTE:
When there are no active connections between the Bluetooth(R) Audio and the hands free module, "There are no active connections." is displayed.





3. Select "1" in the illustration on the Bluetooth Audio screen.





4. Select "Pairing."





5. The pairing list screen is displayed.

PAIRING OPERATION OF BLUETOOTH(R) DEVICE

1. Shift the selector lever to P (parking) position [CVT]
or shift lever to N (neutral) position [M/T or TC-SST]
and pull the parking brake lever.





2. Display the pairing list screen, and select "New Device."
NOTE:
When the vehicle is being driven, or when the vehicle is driven during the pairing operation, "This function is disabled while driving." is displayed for 4 seconds, and the display returns to the pairing list screen.





3. Enter the 4-digit code on the Pin code screen, and select "Enter."
4. "Begin Pairing procedure on device. See device's manual for instructions." is displayed on the screen.
5. Refer to the owner's manual for your device and enter into the device the pin code.
NOTE:
When "Cancel" is selected or the pairing is failed, the display returns to the pairing list screen.





6. When the pairing is completed, the display returns to the pairing list screen.
NOTE:
When 7 Bluetooth(R) devices are already paired to the hands free module, "Maximum device paired. Please delete a paired device before pairing a new device." is displayed.

DELETE OPERATION OF BLUETOOTH(R) DEVICE





1. Display the pairing list screen, and select the "Bluetooth(R) device" to be deleted.





2. Select "Delete."









3. When "Yes" is selected, the Bluetooth(R) device is deleted and the display returns to the pairing list screen.
