INSPECTION PROCEDURE 4: Water leak through the header area

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

- Improper adjusted J hook

DIAGNOSIS

STEP 1. Check the lift (height and flushness) between the roof rail front outer panel and the cowl top header area.

Q. Is there improper fit between the roof rail front outer panel and the cowl top header area?

YES Adjust the J hook. (Refer to J' Hook Adjustment).

NO Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Check the latch operating force.

Q. Does the latch operate smoothly?

YES Return to Step 1.

NO Adjust the J hook. (Refer to J' Hook Adjustment).
