DTC B1319 Pump motor protection time-out

DTC SET CONDITION

When the convertible top control module detects that the pump motor is continuously driven, it sets this DTC to protect the pump motor. When the judgment criteria for this DTC are satisfied, the convertible top control module stops the pump motor, outputs ON/OFF flash-signal repeatedly for approximately 1 minute to the operating solenoid valve, and then lowers the convertible top to a safe position.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

This DTC does not indicate a fault in the system but is set to protect the pump motor from overload resulting from OPEN/CLOSE continuous operations.
