Hub End Play Check

WHEEL BEARING END PLAY CHECK

1. Remove the brake caliper assembly and brake disc, and retain the brake caliper assembly with a wire and the like to prevent from falling (Refer to Service and Repair).





2. Attach a dial gauge as shown in the illustration, and then measure the end play while moving the hub in the axial direction.
Limit: 0.05 mm (0.002 inch)
3. After checking, install the brake disc, brake caliper assembly and tighten the brake caliper assembly mounting bolts to the specified torque (Refer to Service and Repair).
