REAR WIPER AND WASHER

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION







NOTE: For removal and installation of the wiper and washer switch, refer to Column Switch.

REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS

[[A]] REAR WASHER HOSE (LIFTGATE SIDE) REMOVAL







CAUTION:
- The rear washer hose is fixed to the clip with tape. Remove the clip by breaking it.
- Tie a cord to the rear washer hose when removing it from the liftgate to configure it easily upon assembling.

INSTALLATION SERVICE POINTS

]]A[[ REAR WIPER BLADE INSTALLATION







CAUTION: Use a curved backing like that shown for the backing of a wiper blade to ensure sustained wiper wiping performance.

]]B[[ REAR WIPER ARM AND REAR WIPER BLADE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION







Set the wiper blade so that it stops at the specified position.

A: 5 to 25 mm (0.2 to 1.0 in) from the ceramic line

]]C[[ GROMMET INSTALLATION







Install so that the mating mark on the grommet (triangle) is aligned with the mark on the Liftgate glass.
