4B1 NON-TURBO ENGINE CRANKSHAFT & RELATED PARTS - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
To enhance durability the crankshaft and related parts for 4B1 non-turbocharged engines have been changed as follows:
- New material and flange shape of crankshaft
- New length of flywheel bolts and drive plate bolts
This bulletin provides specifications for the new crankshaft and related parts.
NOTE:
The new crankshaft can be installed on earlier model years only if it is replaced together with the new flywheel bolts and drive plate bolts.
