FUSE HANDS FREE LINK SYSTEM(TM) SOFTWARE
PURPOSE
On a vehicle equipped with the Fuse Hands Free Link System(TM) (FUSE) the system software can be updated using the vehicle's USB input terminal on a customer request customer pay basis. This TSB provides instructions for updating the FUSE system's software to allow an Apple Inc. device with the iOS4 operating system (versions 4.0 and higher) for iPhone or iPod Touch etc. to play stored music using a USB cable connection. This update is specific to this condition and will not address other concerns.
Dealers should advise customers that when connecting an iPhone or iPod Touch to the FUSE system using the USB connector music should be saved in a "Playlist" or it may not load correctly. Refer to the Apple, Inc. website for details about playlists.

Hardware or software updates needed to support and/or connect Mitsubishi vehicles to non-Mitsubishi supplied devices (such as but not limited to cell phones music players tablets laptops or other audio video and data sources) are not warrantable.
