VIN Writing to the New Transmission Control Module (TCM)

1. Turn the ignition to the ON (RUN) position.
2. From the MUT-III Main Menu, click System
Select.





3. Select ELC-AT/CVT/TC-SST from the System List and click the check mark to continue.





4. Click the Coding button.





5. Click the Chassis No/VIN Writing button.

6. Type in the 17 digit VIN. There is no option to have MUT-III auto fill the VIN for you.

Double check the VIN before proceeding.





Click the check mark to continue.





7. Click the check mark in the VIN Writing dialog box to continue.





8. Click the check mark in the VIN Writing dialog box when Completed is displayed.
9. Proceed to Copy Coding from MUT-III to TCM. Instructions follow.
