DTCS P001A AND P003C - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION

PURPOSE
Some information for DTCs P001A and POO3C is incorrect in the affected service manuals. This bulletin contains corrected service manual pages for these diagnostic trouble codes.
DTC P001A - Camshaft profile control (engine oil control valve) circuit
DTC P003C - MIVEC Performance problem
AFFECTED VEHICLES
2009 and 2009.5 Galant
NOTE:
To determine if the vehicle is 2009 or 2009.5 model:
a. Look for the lower grille (screen) in the front fascia that was added in 2009.5.
b. Check the factory option group (FOG) on the VIN super screen or in the lower RH corner of the driver's door label. 2009 models start with "A" (i.e. A01). 2009.5 models start with "T" (i.e. T21).
c. Check the production date of the vehicle:
- Up to June 2008 = 2009 model
- July 2008 could be either 2009 or 2009.5 50 check the FOG
- August 2008 and after = 2009.5 model
