PURPOSE
This TSB provides information only. No action is required on the dealer's part.
New California Air Resources Board regulations require that for vehicles "manufactured January 1, 2009 and thereafter," certified for sale as California emissions, customers must be informed of a vehicle's Global Warming Score and Smog Index Score. Vehicles certified as 50-state emissions will also have this information.
Beginning in mid-December 2008, this information will be provided on all Mitsubishi-built affected vehicles in a green "Environmental Performance" box in the lower left of the Monroney label.
Beginning with January 1, 2009 production, all Raider affected vehicles will have a separate green "Environmental Performance" label affixed to the driver's door window.
This information must not be removed before the vehicle is sold.
AFFECTED VEHICLE(S)
All vehicles certified as California emissions or 50-State emissions.
