CHANGES TO HOOD DAMPER & HOOD WEATHERSTRIP B - SERVICE MANUAL REVISION
PURPOSE
Changes to the hood damper and the hood weatherstrip B have been made in production. This Technical Service Bulletin provides a corrected illustration and corrected information relating to the production changes.
AFFECTED VEHICLE(S)
2008 Lancer
^ The length of the hood weatherstrip has been changed from 807 mm to 388 mm. Effective 2/1/2008.
^ The number of hood weatherstrip attaching clips has been changed from 7 to 4. Effective 2/1/2008.
^ The hood damper B has been reduced in size (vehicles without hood insulator only). Effective 8/1/2007.
These changes are also applied when a vehicle is repaired using new parts.
