Electrolyte level and specific gravity checks

CAUTION: Because it is the maintenance free battery, the electrolyte level and specific gravity checks are not performed.

NOTE: To maintain the battery performance, never remove the label or top lid.

Charging

CAUTION:
- Do not perform boost charging.
- The charging current shall be 5.0 A or less.
- The battery shall be charged by referring to the graph 1 of the battery test. Testing and Inspection
- Open flame around the battery while charging may cause explosion.
- While charging, pay attention not to cause sparks or other risks.
- Perform the operation in a well-ventilated place.

1. Remove the battery from the vehicle.
2. Set the charging current to 5 amps or less and charge the battery by referencing the charging time in Graph 1 described in the section "battery test". Testing and Inspection

How to judge the completion of charging
Perform the battery test to check if it is normal.
