Cylinder Head Bolts





Check nominal length of each cylinder head bolt meets limit. If it exceeds limit, replace bolts with a new one.
Limit (A) 99.4 mm (3.91 inches)





First pass 78 ± 2 Nm (58 ± 1 ft-lb)
Second pass: Loosen bolts fully in reverse sequence
Third pass 20 ± 2 Nm (15 ± 1 ft-lb)
Fourth pass Tighten 90°
Final pass Tighten 90°

Camshaft sprocket bolt 89 ± 9 Nm (65 ± 7 ft-lb)
