INSPECTION PROCEDURE 15: The map disc cannot be inserted.

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
- The special map disc may be defective.
- The navigation unit may be defective.

DIAGNOSIS

STEP 1. Check that the inserted disc is the map disc.

Q: Is an inserted disc the map disc?

YES: Go to Step 2.

NO: Replace the disc with the special map disc. Check if the map disc can be inserted.

STEP 2. Using the multi-center display service function, check that the navigation unit is connected.

Q: When the multi-center display service function is used, is the navigation unit connected?

YES: Replace the navigation unit. Check if the map disc can be inserted.

NO: Perform Inspection Procedure 7: "The navigation screen is not displayed at all."
