Tonneau Flipper Door Contacting Topstack Frame Update - 2007 Eclipse Spyder. If the tonneau flipper door contacts the topstack frame during the top closing process, it may be due to a bent flipper door cable. The door may be scratched due to this condition. Inspect the flipper door cable near the topstack mounting location. If it is bent, replace the flipper door assembly. If the cable is not bent, adjust the brass colored fitting forward (toward the topstack) one notch, so that the flipper door will clear the topstack frame during operation.
If the outer cover is damaged, use replacement parts p/n 6559A005HA (LH) or 6559A006HA (RH).
