*This document updated per manufacturer TSB #07-42A-010DTC B1315 Timeout Error (TN latch close)
Tonneau Latch Switch Circuit:
CIRCUIT OPERATION
At opening or closing operation, when the tonneau panel is lowered, the convertible top control module stops applying current to the solenoid valve (rotary drive cylinder) to control the hydraulic pressure to the rotary drive cylinder. As a result, the tonneau latch is closed. Then, when the tonneau latch switch (Latched) is turned ON, this control is terminated.
DTC SET CONDITION
This DTC is set when a signal from the tonneau latch switch (Latched) is not turned ON after the operation above continues for approximately five seconds.
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
- OFF failure of the tonneau latch switch (latched)
- Damaged harness wires and connectors
- Malfunction of hydraulic circuit
- Malfunction of the convertible top control module
NOTE: When ON failure occurs at tonneau latch switch (Latched), DTC B1307 or B1308 is set at the same time.
DIAGNOSIS
