VEHICLE INFORMATION CODE PLATE

Vehicle information code plate is riveted onto the bulkhead in the engine compartment.

The place shows model code, engine model, transaxie model, and body color code.

2003 EXTERIOR COLOR CODES AND MODEL APPLICATIONS

PURPOSE
This article contains complete exterior color information on all 2003 Mitsubishi Motors passenger vehicles.

The tables are as follows:

2. Paint Manufacturers' Stock Numbers for 2003 Exterior Refinishing

Use these tables when ordering refinishing materials from your local automotive paint dealer.

2003 EXTERIOR COLORS

There are forty-five (45) colors included in the 2003 model line-up. Thirty-seven (37) colors are carried over from previous years and eight (8) are new. Also, there are eleven (11) two tone exterior color combinations (Montero & Montero Sport). Regardless of the main body color, all Outlander models have front and rear bumpers and side sill plates painted in Argent Silver (see Tables 1 and 2).

Table 2 contains the manufacturers' stock numbers from several automotive refinish companies, which correspond with the Color Codes and Model Applications shown in Table 1. The new colors for 2003 are identified by bold characters.
