Seat Belt Systems: Description and Operation
GENERAL DESCRIPTIONSEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM
- When the ignition switch is turned "ON" without fastening the seat belts (seat belt switch OFF), the tone alarm will sound for approximately 6 seconds to warn the driver to fasten the seat belts. When the seat belts are fastened, the torn alarm will stop sounding.
- When the ignition switch is turned ON without fastening the seat belt, the seat belt warning light comes on to warn the driver to fasten the seat belt.
