BOLTED PANEL FIT AND ADJUSTMENTHOOD
ADJUSTMENT OF HOOD FIT
1. If the clearance between the hood and body panel is uneven, loosen the hood mounting bolts and adjust the clearance by moving the hood.
Hood installation bolt tightening torque: 11 ± 2 Mm (98 ± 17 in-lb)
2. If the height of the hood and body is uneven adjust the height of the hood by turning the hood bumper using the hood bumper arrow as a guideline. The bumper height is altered by roughly 3 mm (0.1 inch) when turning the hood bumper one rotation.
3. If the hood level, floating, unlock, lock is heavy check the cord of the release cable, loosen the hood latch assembling bolt, lift the hood latch and adjust the bite with the hood striker.
Hood latch assembling bolt tightening torque: 9.0 ± 2.0 Mm (80 ± 17 in-lb)
